Registration for attendance of worship services

Victory Baptist Church is offering three (3) Sunday services to meet physically together, in addition to the live streaming video of the morning worship service which will be available at the church’s Youtube channel at 11:00 a.m. and archived for later viewing.

There is a maximum of fifty (50) people who may be permitted to gather together in the church building. In order to maintain this limitation, we will control the number of attendees by registering in advance. Online registration for the 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. services may be accessed by entering your email address below (if your email is already registered with us). Registration for the 9:00 a.m. service is done by contacting Mrs. Searle. If you are a visitor, we would be glad to register you for the 11:00 a.m. service. Please email us at

Please read the following instructions as well as the rules and protocols. You will be required to agree to these in order to start the registration.

Worship times (restricted by age)

The morning services are for those who are GRADE 8 AND OLDER.
The afternoon service will be at 2:00 P.M for children AGE 3 – GRADE 7 (and their parents and siblings). We will meet in the sanctuary and then have the children escorted downstairs by a parent or older sibling to an age appropriate service. We will continue the online children’s service until we work out the need for services based on attendance requirements.

Volunteering to give up your space to a visitor

With the maximum of fifty (50) people permitted to be present in the church building we have added a volunteer checkbox on the registration page. Those on this list ARE INDICATING THAT THEY ARE WILLING to leave the service if visitors show up and our capacity of fifty (50) is exceeded. An usher would inform you in the event of this.

Hygiene Protocol

In order to attend one of the physical services there are some guidelines that we request be adhered to while being in the church building.

They are given here and will again be stated in an email when you register. Please understand that our goal in this is that we want to safeguard our testimony in the community. With these guidelines we signal our concern for the well-being of those with whom we subsequently make physical contact in society. Also, we safeguard those in attendance who may be vulnerable.

We are endeavouring to make everyone comfortable to a level that permits us to worship without too much distraction. Though we are still apart physically, even though together in the building, we may by our spirit and attitude attempt to reflect the love of our saviour toward our brethren. This includes both being gracious for mistakes, but also in adhering as much as possible to the guidelines and the spirit of them.

Church building attendance expectations

  1. One Entrance – Main Doors (south side) with handicap only access by the ramp entrance.
  2. Two Exits – Both Side Doors (east side).
    Note: By the organ and to the right as you come up the stairs to the main doors.
  3. Read and follow signage instructions.
    1. The Main Entrance signs list Covid-19 restrictions (Q&A especially for visitors) for accessing the Building.
    2. The Main Entrance reception table asking visitors to sign in and everyone to use the sanitizer.  Masks and gloves will also be available. We ask that you USE A MASK AS YOU ENTER AND EXIT but may take off once seated. IF YOU NEED TO MOVE ABOUT THE BUILDING, PLEASE USE A MASK. We recognize that there may be challenges with the use of masks for children so we will leave it up to the discretion of the parents to decide for their child. While we will have masks available, please provide your own if possible.
    3. The outside, basement entrance will be Closed and used for Exit Only.
    4. The inside stairwell will be used for entrance only (unless using the washrooms and returning to the service).  Signage will be asking ushers to check that the stairwell is clear before you will be allowed to enter.
    5. At the entrance to each washroom use of the sanitizer will be necessary before entering.
    6. The base of the stairwell (at the entrance to the basement) will be closed to the public. (Except for the children’s 2nd service).
    7. Each side door is to be used for Exiting the building only.
  4. Ushers will assist those who arrive with their seating arrangements.
  5. Bulletins will be pre-distributed and placed onto the chair seats.
  6. Marking tape will be installed to help with social distancing.
  7. At the end of each service, volunteers will implement the established sanitization protocol.  This includes, but is not limited to, sanitization of all potential physical contact points like doorknobs, chairs etc.

Currently, registration for the worship service at the building is only available for the church family for whom we have email addresses. If you are a visitor and interested in attending, please contact us from the "Contact Us" page for inquiry.
